Temples in Malacca
Cheng Hoong Teng Temple or Green Clouds temple, is the oldest functioning temple in Melaka, Malaysia. The temple was constructed in 1873 and dedicated to Kwan Yin, the Goddess of Mercy, it is devoted equally to the three doctrines - Taoism, Confucianism and Chinese-Buddhism. Every aspect of temples tells a story about the Chinese in Malacca, their lives and their beliefs.
