Kampung Hulu’s Mosque

Built in 1782, Kampung Hulu Mosque is the oldest mosque of Malaysia.  Taking inspiration from the Hindu temples, Dato’ Samsudin built this mosque with an exceptional and unique multi-tiered ‘meru’ roof, whereas the minaret holds its resemblance to the early mosques of Sumatera and Java.
